How BIAPH fits into the community

The Brain Injury Association of Peel and Halton (BIAPH) is a non-profit organization, which exists for the needs of families and survivors of brain injury in the Peel and Halton regions.

Geographically, the Peel-Halton region is wide spread with a growing population. It includes the communities of Brampton, Burlington, Georgetown, Halton Hills, Milton, Mississauga, and Oakville.

Presently the association focuses on providing information to survivors and their families as well as facilitating measures to promote the prevention of brain injury, improving quality of care, education and research. BIAPH has also established the Paul Franks Memorial Fund to provide respite care relief to family and friends providing ongoing care for the brain injured.

The Board of Directors is a group of volunteers, survivors, family members and professionals. The Executive and General Board Members conduct meetings once a month. They are also active volunteers for our Information Nights, Social and Leisure Events, Injury Prevention Program and Fundraising Campaigns.

BIAPH is a community resource for the survivors of brain injury, their families, advocates & professionals.

All proceeds received at BIAPH support our programs, services and daily operations.
