The Ontario Brain Injury Association (OBIA) and participating community brain injury associations have formally liinked their organizations to become the Community Support Network (CSN). This arrangement will provide a stronger voice for people living with acquired brain injury and help to develop province wide programs. The Peer Mentoring Program is a prime example of one such program. BIAPH is pleased to announce we have signed a Dual Membership Shared Activity Agreement with the CSN.

From now on, when you sign up or renew your membership you will become a dual member of BIAPH and OBIA for one low price.

As a Dual Member you will receive:

• A one-year subscription to OBIA Review
• Memos and Articles
• Training Session Dates
• News about Group Functions and Social Events, such as our Holiday Dinner and Dance.
• Free access to OBIA's resource library and be eligible for a $25.00 discount on most of OBIA's training programs.
• Government Lobbying on your behalf
• New Peer Mentoring Program
  Members may become a Mentor or receive support - Call us about being a Mentor at 905-823-2221 or your interest in receiving support.
• Yuri Mutiger Memorial Respite Care Program
  Members may apply for Respite Care for primary caregivers - Call us at 905-823-2221 for more information.

Dual Membership to BIAPH and OBIA

 
Please print, complete and mail in our new Membership Registration Form along with a cheque in the amount of your applicable membership fee. Additionally, you will notice, there is an area for you to make a tax deductible donation to BIAPH. If it is more convenient for you, simply fill in the applicable areas with your credit card information and fax it to us at 905-823-9960. Your support is most welcomed and will help us continue to offer support to victims of ABI and their families in Peel and Halton regions.

For Corporate Sponsors, please note that effective January 1, 2009, the following changes to membership with BIAPH are:

• Corporate sponsors will now receive complimentary individual memberships as part of their sponsorship agreements as follows:

  Bronze Sponsor > $250.00	1 Individual Membership
  Silver Sponsor > $1,000.00	2 Individual Memberships
  Gold Sponsor > $2,500.00	4 Individual Memberships
  Platinum Sponsor > $5,000.00	6 Individual Memberships
  Regular Sponsor Corporate/Individual < $250.00

• The complimentary memberships must be assigned to designated persons (to be determined by the sponsor).
• Professional membership fees are now discontinued. All professionals are encouraged to take advantage of our new Dual Individual Membership.
• Please make all corporate donations out to The Brain Injury Association of Peel and Halton directly.
